• Ambulatory Surgery Center Experience Required

Job Responsibilities
Assessment and Planning of Patient Care
• Conducts comprehensive patient and family assessments.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team to ensure a patient-centric care plan.
• Communicates patient care plans effectively to team members.
Provision of Patient Care
• Provides competent, compassionate, and cost-effective care.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Delegates tasks appropriately to team members.
• Leads the team in the time-out process.
• Communicates treatments and activities clearly to patients and families.
• Delivers care in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Protects patient health information confidentiality.
Evaluation of Patient Care
• Monitors interventions and evaluates patient outcomes.
• Conducts ongoing patient and family education.
• Adjusts care plans based on patient response.
• Documents treatment information in the electronic health record (EHR).
Professional Support
• Promotes a positive working environment and provides support as needed.
• Provides orientation and training to new staff.
• Orders and stocks necessary supplies.
• Assists with patient transport and positioning.
