Unit: Operating Room Unit Description ============ Overview: Need solid understanding of surgical processes with competency in a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, general, robotics, gyn, and urology. Ratio: Scrub Color: Scrubs Provided Charting System: Cerner Additional Information ================= Experience Required: Need min 3 year experience to be able to Scrub and Circulate Need expert (3+ years) experience with Orthopedic Spine, Tobots, and Trauma Patients Scrubs: provided by Hosptail Shift: 7a-530P - 4/ 10 hour shifts a week Weekend/On Call Requirement: One weekend on call a month for a total of 36 hours 24 hours on Saturday and 12 hours on Sunday Certification/Licensure: Current licensure in the State of New Jersey. American Heart Association BLS required. American Heart Association ACLS required. National certification in area of specialty preferred. First Day Instructions? /Orientation: Failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination- once scheduled, candidate does not have the option of rescheduling any classes. Candidate will receive an email directly from Inspira the Friday before the Monday start. The email will contain the following information; They will receive instructions for signing on to the Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream Module from Human Resources sometime prior to 8:30 on Monday. Monday GEO will be Virtual from their own computer. The modules assigned must be completed by Monday or they will be removed from the orientation list. In person class schedule list- Typically Tues-Thurs- these classes are held in multiple locations. The location may not be listed in the original email, candidate is required to use Health Stream to determine class location day of. Please Note *The POCT class will required to attend and is not during orientation week. Unit based orientation schedule from manager. Badge ID Link- instructions on how to make an appointment t o receive their ID badge in person. Photo submissions are not permitted. Must be complete during orientation. The Badge is required for clock ins.
