Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking skilled LPNs and RNs to join our team. In this role, you will greet and prepare patients for provider examinations and treatments, maintain equipment, and engage in patient and family education to support positive health outcomes. Responsibilities • Greet and prepare patients for provider examination and treatment. • Properly maintain medical equipment before and after procedures. • Engage in patient and family teaching to achieve desired health outcomes. • Room patients and take vital signs. • Call patients with lab results. • Perform blood draws. Essential Skills • Experience in family medicine and nursing clinical settings. • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly EPIC. • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) certification. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. • Experience in primary care, patient care, and triage. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Open to recent LPN graduates. • Experience in any clinic setting or primary care is preferred. • Specialty experience in any field is a plus. • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or military equivalent. Work Environment The position involves working in multiple specialties within a physicians' clinic environment. You will work Monday through Friday, during day shifts for 8 hours each day. Compensation ranges from $20 to $33 per hour, depending on experience. A collaborative and supportive work atmosphere is provided to ensure optimal patient care. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Joseph, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.64 - $33.02/hr.
