Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care in line with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Responsibilities: • Implement and monitor tailored patient care plans. • Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions clearly and effectively. • Act as the primary coordinator for patient care across all disciplines. • Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to meet patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-related needs. • Delegate care tasks to nursing staff based on their qualifications. • Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds, providing valuable updates on patient conditions. • Abide by the ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, along with the ANA Code of Ethics. • Develop and revise individualized care plans as necessary. • Engage in professional growth and development activities consistently. • Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program. • Associate degree is required; BSN is preferred. • Current RN license in Connecticut. • BLS certification from the American Heart Association. • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential.
