Registered Nurse (Orthopedic Operating Room) in Baltimore, MD

No weekends, no holidays, Monday through Friday. Registered Nurse - Operating Room Duties: - Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in an ambulatory surgery center - Assist with pre-operative assessments and preparations, including patient education and consent - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and sterile environment in the operating room - Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall condition during surgery - Assist with surgical procedures, specimen collection, and processing - Provide post-operative care, including pain management - Develop and implement discharge plans for patients following surgery - Document all patient interactions, procedures performed, and medications administered accurately and timely Qualifications: - Valid RN license in Maryland - Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an operating room setting - Experience with airway management, specimen collection processing - Familiarity with HST or similar electronic health record systems - Ability to lift and move patients as needed - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Experience working with children is a plus If you are a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the operating room setting, we invite you to join our team.
