Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, ensuring adherence to department standards and nursing practices. Your daily tasks will include:
• Assessing patients’ conditions upon admission and throughout your shifts, promptly identifying any changes.
• Performing medical procedures as ordered, with timely and accurate documentation in patient records.
• Administering medications and monitoring patient responses, taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Providing outstanding care by addressing patient needs swiftly and proactively.
• Educating patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medication management.
Qualifications
• Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program to complete within 5 years.
• Preferred Education: Master’s in Nursing.
• Required License/Certifications: Current registered nurse licensure in North Carolina; BLS certification.
• Preferred License/Certifications: National certification in specialty area.
• Required Experience: At least one year of nursing experience.
