Position Summary:
As a Registered Nurse, you will coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care efficiently and accurately for patients in the orthopedic and spine units.
Position Requirements:
• Education: Must hold a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid nursing license in the State of Tennessee.
• Credentials: BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Additional requirements based on unit specialization may include:
• Telemetry: Basic arrhythmia and ACLS certifications within 6 months.
• Critical Care: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification and specialty certifications within specified timeframes.
• Pediatric Care: Experience and certifications tailored to pediatric patient care.
Workplace Experience:
• Comprehensive patient care delivery in adult and pediatric settings
• Critical care exposure
• Oncology care experience
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged standing and ability to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications safely and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
