Hourly Compensation: $29.22 - $47.33/hr. Compensation is influenced by experience, education, and other relevant factors. Department: Senior Health Center FTE: 1.00 (Full Time) Shift: Days Position Overview: Join our team to deliver exceptional outpatient care by providing direct patient education and clinical support in a dynamic ambulatory setting. As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include serving as a clinical mentor and role model for your peers, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols, and delivering holistic care across various patient age groups. Key Responsibilities: • Promote the Patient Centered Medical Home concept in daily practice. • Assist physicians with special tests and procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care. • Document patients' medical histories and ensure comprehensive medical records. • Triage walk-in patients and coordinate with other departments for effective patient management. • Administer medications and perform routine treatments as per physician's orders. • Participate in training and evaluating new personnel to foster a collaborative work environment. • Promote patient autonomy and self-management through effective education. • Proactively address and report patient safety concerns, ensuring a safe environment for all. • Assist team members as needed to provide seamless patient care. Qualifications: Education: • Essential: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. • Nonessential: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Experience: • Essential: Relevant clinical experience preferred. • Nonessential: Bilingual skills (English, Spanish, or Native American languages) and three years of related experience. Credentials: • Essential: CPR for Healthcare Providers or Professional Rescuers within 30 days of hire. • Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or as per reciprocal agreement. Physical Requirements: This position may require lifting 50 to 100 pounds occasionally and moving light objects frequently. Be prepared for a heavy work environment.
