This registered nurse oversees and directs the care of pre and post endoscopy patients. The outpatient care unit nurse assesses overall recovery from endoscopic procedures and conscious sedation and educates patients and their families about homecare instructions.EducationRequired: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved programPreferred: Bachelor’s Degree in NursingExperiencePreferred: Previous nursing experienceSkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate effective leadership abilitiesExhibits valuable time management skillsStrong critical thinking/problem solving skills.Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.Licensure/Certification/RegistrationRequired: RN license active in the state of MissouriRequired: BLS must be obtained within 90 daysMust obtain ACLS within one year of hire
