Registered Nurse - Outpatient Clinic Cardiology in Waconia, MN

Duties • Provide specialized care in cardiology for adult patients. • Perform assessments including interpretation of laboratory results and medication reconciliation. • Conduct 12 lead EKG/ECG and obtain vital signs. • Manage patient health questionnaires, histories, and allergies. • Interpret arrhythmias and respond to cardiac arrest/CPR situations. • Address chest pain, hypertension, and utilize AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators). • Handle office duties such as chart preparation and telephone triage. • Communicate with pharmacies for patient refill requests. • Provide patient teaching and follow-up phone calls. Skills • Internal Medicine • Triage • Cardiology • Starting IVs • Adults Assessment • Arrhythmia interpretation • Cardiac Arrest/CPR • Chest pain • Hypertension • AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Experience • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. • Required certifications: ACLS. • Experience with Epic charting system. • Experience in cardiology and cardiovascular care.
