Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 1 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: Days In this role, you will: • Provide high quality nursing services in a family practice setting. • Act as the sole clinical staff member at the Hondo Family Practice clinic, reporting directly to the Nurse Practitioner. • Assist with patient evaluations, including rooming and chart preparation. • Respond to patient inquiries via phone and MyChart, assess symptoms, and provide guidance based on established protocols. • Maintain patient care areas by stocking supplies, managing vaccines, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. • Help coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with patients regarding their care. • Educate patients about medications, chronic disease management, and follow-up care instructions. • Conduct nurse visits, including vital signs, medication administration, immunizations, wound care, and chronic disease support. • Perform blood draws and manage specimen handling and documentation. • Provide care for walk-in patients as needed. Qualifications: • Active State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit. • Associate Degree in Nursing. • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at the time of hire.
