
Registered Nurse - Outpatient PACE Program in Morganton, NC

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will work under the supervision of the Clinic Manager as part of a dedicated team committed to ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of all participants. You will:
• Triage participants in both the center and community
• Administer medications according to the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and facility standing orders
• Conduct initial, semi-annual, and annual assessments
• Assist medical professionals with lab orders, procedures, and consultations
• Provide wound care and act as a liaison between participants, families, and staff
• Document care delivery, patient conditions, and progress
• Utilize the Nursing Process in delivering care in line with established policies
• Offer patient education, particularly regarding pharmaceuticals
• Adjust care plans as necessary and participate in the On-Call team to provide support
What qualifications you will need:
• Education: BSN degree required with a valid RN license and current BLS and First Aid Certification
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year working with frail or elderly populations; 3 years in nursing management in a community-based setting is preferred
In addition, you must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting employment.
