Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative care as an OR Circulator
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and individualized care planning
• Coordinate surgical care with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams
• Ensure proper patient positioning, safety checks, and sterile practices
• Administer medications and treatments per clinical standards
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Educate patients and families throughout the surgical process
• Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, and performance initiatives
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to nursing staff and students
• Support efficient use of human and material resources
• Uphold patient safety, compliance, and regulatory standards
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
• Key Skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Strong OR circulating and perioperative nursing skills
• Excellent critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment
• Strong interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
• Accurate clinical documentation / EMR skills
• Effective time management and organization
• Ability to respond calmly and decisively in emergencies
• Strong patient-centered care and customer service skills
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Additional Requirements:
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
