Registered Nurse PACU in Kernersville, NC

Overview:

Within the role of the Registered Nurse (RN), there is a focus on delivering excellent patient care and securing positive patient results by employing nursing expertise in a caring and effective manner. With supervision, this position enhances professional nursing standards by orchestrating patient care through the nursing process and teamwork across disciplines.

Responsibilities:
• Analyzes patient needs and medical situations in the designated unit to provide targeted nursing care that addresses each patient's specific concerns.
• Reviews patient records, including medical history, test outcomes, and existing health status, to devise customized nursing care plans.
• Executes nursing processes, such as medication dispensation and interventions, to furnish comprehensive and appropriate patient support.
• Assessing patient responses to interventions and identifying any extra interventions needed to achieve defined care objectives. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure efficient care planning.
• Handles additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse

Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
• Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
