Job Description

**Overview:** Amergis is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a 13-week contract. This is a day shift position, working 40 hours a week from 7:30a-4p. **Responsibilities:**
• Provide high-quality patient care in the PACU setting
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients recovering from anesthesia
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and other medical interventions
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• *Qualifications:**
• Current RN license in the state of Iowa
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PACU or similar setting
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
