Requirements • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. • Minimum of three (3) years of PACU nursing experience. • Current state licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut. • Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment. • Completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment. • Completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of employment. Qualifications • Ability to correlate clinical data with patient care. • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members. • Proficiency in setting priorities and directing clinical care efficiently. • Capability to provide patient care in emergency situations. • Experience in planning and implementing patient care standards.
