Hourly Pay Range:$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Position: Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)Location: Evanston. ILFull Time/Part Time: Full TimeHours: Mondays, Wednesdays Fridays - 5:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (3)12-hour shiftsRotation into on-call shifts - (3-4 weeknight & 3 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period)What you will do:Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for the PACU and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)ECT patients will be scheduled at the beginning of every shift; remaining part of shift will care for the surgical PACU patient populationUtilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of careCommunicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of carePositively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experienceWhat you will need:License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL requiredEducation: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferredCertification: BLS/CPR & ACLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association required; PALS required.
