Job Description
Position Overview: As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient health, administering medication, implementing care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Requirements:
• Current RN license in the state of South Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar acute care setting (Preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and assess patient health in the PCU setting
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
