Description : This position involves providing nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and progressive care setting. The nurse will work 3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts from 18 : 00 to 06 : 30. The role requires floating within the facility and potentially to nearby facilities. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. There are guaranteed hours of 36 per week for the three 12-hour shift schedule. Candidates should have experience in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias and using rapid response teams. Experience with telemetry and cardiac telemetry is required. Nurses will be responsible for various patient care tasks including starting and maintaining IVs, managing lines, and administering medications. Candidates should also be familiar with isolation precautions and providing care for diverse patient populations including adults and geriatrics.
