Registered Nurse - PCU/Stepdown Unit in Lamar, MS

Our hospitals are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for the PCU/Stepdown unit. Qualifications: • Associate's Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing. • Active Registered Nurse license without restrictions. • Preferred: 1 year experience in a stepdown/progressive care, neurology, cardiac, or high acuity setting. • Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. • Strong abilities in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation. • Proficient with electronic medical record systems. Responsibilities: • Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs and IV drips. • Administer medications and implement treatment plans accurately and timely. • Work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers for optimal patient care. • Educate patients and families on managing acute or chronic conditions and using medical equipment. • Maintain accurate patient records, following hospital and departmental regulations.
