Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree (ADN) or higher in Nursing.
• Active and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Preferred: minimum of 1 year experience in PACU, ICU, or a comparable high-acuity setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients, closely monitoring vital signs and managing anesthesia symptoms.
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans under the guidance of the medical team.
• Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure seamless transitions for patients from the operating room to recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management and recognizing potential complications.
• Ensure thorough and timely documentation in accordance with hospital protocols.
