Registered Nurse, Post-Surgical Night Shift in Chapel Hill, TN

Position Summary Your role will involve coordinating, implementing, and planning nursing care with precision and attention to detail. You will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Qualifications • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee. • Completed a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited program. • Current BLS certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire). • For specific units, additional certifications may be required within designated timeframes. Key Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients at the time of admission. • Develop and implement individualized care plans, identifying needs and setting achievable outcomes. • Provide patient education and prepare for their discharge and post-discharge needs. • Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established policies. • Document patient care accurately and timely. • Reassess patient conditions and modify care plans as necessary. • Supervise and mentor other nursing staff effectively. • Maintain a safe and supportive healing environment for patients and families. • Uphold a professional demeanor while maintaining cleanliness and order in work areas.
