General Summary
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principle investigator.
Cottage Is a 4 Room Ambulatory OR With Operational Times Of 7a-4p. The Site Covers a Wide Range Of Services Such As
• Ortho: Sports Medicine, Total hips and knees, Podiatry and Hand
• Plastics: Breast augmentation, Breast Reduction, Liposuction, Face lifts and laser surgery
• Ophthalmology: Cataract, Retinal and Ocular Plastic
The site is open Monday- Friday with no weekend, holiday or call requirement.
Position Summary
• Position: Contingent, no weekends, no holidays and no on-call
• Shift: Days
• Location: Cottage, Grosse Pointe

Education/Experience Required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Previous 1-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
Certifications/Licensures Required
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
