In this vital role, you will prepare patients for surgery by conducting thorough assessments, confirming medical histories, and ensuring patients are emotionally and physically ready for anesthesia. Post-surgery, you will monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, manage pain, assess vital signs, and closely observe for any complications, ensuring a safe and effective recovery. Job Type: PRN Work Shift: 10 Hour Days (United States of America) Responsibilities: As a PACU/Preop Nurse, you'll be an expert communicator and collaborator, working closely with physicians, other RNs, and medical staff to keep everyone informed about the patient's recovery process. You'll also play a crucial role in educating patients and their families about proper post-operative care, such as medication schedules and managing pain effectively.
