Location Address: 4801 Beckner Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87507, United States of America Compensation Pay Range: Minimum Offer $: 37.8 Maximum Offer for this position is up to $: 51 Summary: As a Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for surgery. This includes thorough assessments, verifying medical history, and ensuring patients are physically and emotionally ready for anesthesia. Post-surgery, you will monitor patients as they awaken from anesthesia, manage pain and vital signs, and watch for any complications to ensure a safe and smooth recovery. Type of Opportunity: PRN FTE: 0 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 10 Hour Days (United States of America) Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse in the PACU/Preop, you will collaborate with physicians, other RNs, and medical staff to keep everyone informed about developments in patient recovery. Effective communication with patients and their families regarding post-operative care is essential—this includes guidance on medication schedules and action steps for pain management.
