Position Type: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Work Shift: Days
Compensation: $37.06 - $57.44 / hour, based on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide expert patient care in a dynamic pre/post procedural and surgical setting. In this role, you will monitor patients to ensure safety, enhance outcomes, and effectively utilize resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre/post procedure assessments, evaluations, and patient education.
• Respond to life-threatening situations by applying nursing protocols and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Deliver nursing care in a complex technical environment.
• Assess the educational needs of patients and families, providing support tailored to their specific circumstances.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) state licensure.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in Pre/Post Special Procedures/Surgery nursing, or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
• BLS certification required before start date, valid for at least sixty days post-hire.
