
Registered Nurse - Primary Care Clinic in Johnson City, KS

Job Description BJC/Saint Luke's Health System is currently hiring a Registered Nurse for our Primary Care clinic in Mission Farms (Hybrid position).
Job Responsibilities:
Provide professional nursing care to clinic patients within an ambulatory setting, adhering to established standards and best practices. Manage comprehensive telephone triage for a team of multiple providers. Optimize patient flow and coordinate all aspects of patient care. Schedule emergent patient appointments. Assess and identify patient and family learning needs, providing appropriate education, advice, and clinical recommendations. Administer medications and insert intravenous access as required.
Delegate tasks to clinical staff, ensuring alignment with demonstrated competencies and the legal Scope of Practice. Serve as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing results. Enter admission orders precisely as directed by healthcare providers. Oversee the management and proper disposal of expired medical samples. Foster a collaborative team atmosphere while demonstrating the ability to work autonomously.
Maintain excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor consistently. Position Details:
This role involves significant phone interaction as a primary duty. Requirements:
Candidates must possess both a Kansas (KS) and Missouri (MO) Registered Nurse (RN) license. If dual licensure is not active at the time of offer, the selected candidate will be given a contingent offer, requiring completion of the second state license within 90 days of the start date.
Hours:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
