Full job description PEDIATRIC CLIENT SCHEDULE: • * Monday 10-6pm Qualifications: • PRIVATE DUTY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Must hold current licensure as a RN in the state of Georgia • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills • Nursing and health care administration skills • Caring and compassionate personality • Ability to build rapport with patients & their family Bright Star Home Care LLC is looking for nurses that want to make a difference in the lives of their patients. The private duty nurse provides and directs provisions of nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and agency policies. The private duty nursing role coordinates the total plan of care with other health care professionals, and helps to achieve and maintain continuity of patient care by planning and exchanging information with physician, agency personnel, patient, family, and community resources. All done within the patients home. We are looking for compassionate nurses to provide skilled nursing services to patients in their homes in accordance with an established care plan!! Responsibilities • Provide health care services in patients residences: Medication Administration and Observation • Follow physician ordered patient care plan • Administer prescribed medications • Assist with clients personal care activities • Complete & document patient assessment • Assess, monitor, and document changes in patient symptoms or behavior • Maintain patients care records and document provided services • Provide companionship and basic emotional and/or psychological support • Complete Supervisory Visits • Must have current BLS certification at the the time of application submission • Must have current Neg TB test at the time of application submission Weekly pay Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
