Registered Nurse, Private Duty in Peru, IL

NursePower is looking for RNs & LPNs who are interested in pursuing Pediatric Private Duty positions across Illinois with competitive pay rates. These positions offer flexible shifts along with the opportunity for a stable and long-term role working with children and young adults. Full-Time, Part-time, PRN, and Weekends hours are available. At least 6 months’ experience in Pediatrics, Med-Surg, Private Duty, Home Health, or School Nursing preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply! Responsibilities: • Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required. • Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals. • Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor. • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention. • Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable. • Providing G tube feedings, Tracheostomy Care, Nebulizer Treatments, and Medication Administration, Ventilator Care (not a requirement-onsite training offered) as well other interventions to keep patient/client comfortable and safe in their home.
