
Registered Nurse - Private Duty Pediatrics in Elkhart Lake, WI
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, following physician guidelines and complying with applicable laws and agency policies. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and maintain consistent, high-quality care, ensuring all parties involved—patients, families, and community resources—are well-informed and cohesive in care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide superior clinical services while adhering to infection control protocols.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members from patient admission to discharge.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical nursing assessments in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Ensure patient eligibility and medical necessity for services, per agency policy.
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with community resources.
• Monitor and adjust care plans to meet patient needs in consultation with physicians.

Required Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted RN licensure in your state of practice.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation or public transit.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial situation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ years of RN experience.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
Compensation will depend on various factors, including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, and a 401k contribution. The hourly pay for this position ranges from $28.27 to $50.48 for full-time employment. All benefits are subject to eligibility criteria.
