About Our A7 West Med Surg Unit:
A7 West is an 18-bed Medical-Surgical unit that cares for a diverse range of patients, including those who are post-surgical, telemetry-monitored, and in detox, along with various general med-surg diagnoses. While our unit may be small, the impact we make is significant. We foster a culture where kindness, teamwork, and growth are not only encouraged but expected. Nurses from various backgrounds, including ICU and other specialties, have found a fulfilling professional home here.

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will lead the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. Using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, you will provide and document patient care and education.
Qualifications:
• Preferred Experience: One year of hospital nursing experience.
• Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or current enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program; obtain BSN within five years of hire. Exemptions may be considered for experienced RNs.
• Required Licensure/Certifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply based on the situation.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
