Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will:
• Utilize the nursing process to provide personalized care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate your nursing expertise while adhering to age-specific standards.
• Care for residents through preventative measures, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate care, conduct assessments, provide education, and perform various nursing interventions.
• May assume the role of charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
All duties are performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and relevant administrative rules. We value the Scope and Standards of Practice as well as the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
Qualifications
• A degree from an accredited nursing program is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is ideal.
• An unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in your practice state is required. Multistate licensure is acceptable if you are in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Maintain department-specific competencies and certifications.
