Job Summary and Qualifications The Progressive Care Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical providers, you will provide essential pre-operative and post-operative nursing care while advocating for patients to ensure an unparalleled experience. Your responsibilities will include: • Assessing patient conditions during admissions and throughout shifts, identifying and reporting changes in status. • Performing medical procedures as ordered by providers and documenting care accurately in medical records. • Administering prescribed medications and monitoring patient responses. • Staying informed about medications, procedures, and equipment used for cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Qualifications: • Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire. • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire. • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required. • Associate degree in nursing preferred.
