Compensation:
Pay Range: $31.21 - $49.94 per hour. Compensation varies based on experience, labor market, and qualifications.
Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, enhancing the quality of care for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize nursing standards to enhance patient care and quality of life.
• Build effective relationships, advocating for patients, families, and significant others.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans through the nursing process.
• Evaluate the physical, cultural, and functional needs of patients in your care.
• Coordinate and collaborate with team members for comprehensive patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families for informed decision-making.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Mentor future nursing colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Apply evidence-based practices in nursing care delivery.
• Maintain a safe and alert work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• No prior experience required.
Physical Requirements:
• Constant communication and interaction with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying.
• Ability to observe and interpret visual and auditory information.
Licensure and Certifications Required:
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) from the American Heart Association.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state of Illinois or appropriate compact state.
