This role is a vital link between clients, prescribers, and program staff—providing education, clinical guidance, and oversight related to mental and medical health, medication management, and overall wellness. Our outpatient setting is collaborative and client-centered, operating within ElevaCare’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model to ensure whole-person, integrated care. The RN will work closely with psychiatric providers, case managers, and program staff to support adults receiving outpatient and rehabilitative mental health services, ensuring care is safe, informed, and responsive. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED Current RN Licensure in the State of Minnesota Qualification as a Mental Health Practitioner in Minnesota CPR and First Aid certification Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure medical and medication services are delivered safely and in accordance with ElevaCare policies and licensing standards Collaborate with the Physician and/or Nurse Practitioner to monitor client health, medication side effects, and potential drug interactions Provide outpatient psychiatric support services, including vitals, orders, and coordination of care The RN will also support policy and training development, assist with e-prescribing processes, respond to medical concerns and emergencies, provide ongoing consultation to staff, and participate in case consultations, meetings, and in-service trainings. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Conducting medical and medication-related in-service trainings Providing Medication Education Services (MES) through the ARMHS program Completing other related duties as assigned WORK ENVIRONMENT & EXPECTATIONS Work is performed in a healthcare setting and may involve exposure to communicable diseases. The role requires the ability to travel between ElevaCare locations, stand and move throughout the workday, use hands and arms, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. The employee must be able to communicate clearly, use basic computer systems, apply sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities.
