Registered Nurse Psychiatric in Greensburg, PA

Job Title • Registered Nurse – Psychiatric Location • Greensburg, PA Schedule / Job Type • Full-time, 3 shifts per week, Day (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), rotating shifts with potential for floating as needed Key Responsibilities • Provide psychiatric nursing care to adult patients in inpatient units • Float to different units within the facility as required, primarily for adult behavioral health units • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including travel and licensing requirements • Document patient care accurately and efficiently without requiring specific charting experience • Adhere to infection control protocols, including COVID vaccination and booster status • Collaborate with supervisory staff and healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care Required Qualifications • Valid Pennsylvania or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at submission) • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (exceptions possible depending on unit) • COVID vaccination and booster shots completed • Ability to float within hospital departments as needed • Travel compliance documentation: SSN, DOB, and RTO approval within 7 days or less (outside of holidays) Preferred Experience / Skills • Previous psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience preferred but not required • Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Join Us • Be part of a dedicated healthcare team providing vital psychiatric care in a supportive environment • Opportunities for flexible scheduling and professional growth within a reputable healthcare organization Notes • No specific charting experience required • Background review policies apply prior to submission • Modules must be completed before entering the facility • This position is open to local candidates and those accepting travel rates
