Be a part of a specialized psychiatric emergency unit integral to the Main Emergency Department, where patients are guided through the Main ED and directed to our crisis unit when psychiatric care is necessary. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in caring for patients while they await evaluations, performing thorough assessments for both adult and pediatric populations.
Our unit prides itself on a strong partnership with security to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of psychiatric counselors and fellow RNs, along with receiving comprehensive training in adult inpatient psychiatric care and Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Units.
Available Shifts:
• Part-Time Nights: Two 12-hour shifts with every third weekend (full benefits included).
• Full-Time Days: Three 12-hour shifts with every third weekend.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Nurse, you will deliver compassionate care tailored to meet the diverse needs of patients and their families. Your key tasks will include:
• Conducting accurate patient assessments and evaluating evolving conditions.
• Identifying actual and potential health concerns to develop effective care plans.
• Coordinating interventions directly or through collaboration with the nursing team.

Qualifications:
• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• A minimum of 1 year of RN experience required; preference will be given to those with 1+ years in inpatient psychiatric or Psychiatric ED settings.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN License and Basic Life Support certification (AHA or American Red Cross) required within 90 days of hire.
This position offers a competitive pay range of: USD $37.10 - USD $56.91 per hour.
