Registered Nurse - Psychiatric State Hospital in Anaconda, MT

**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our team at Montana's primary state psychiatric hospital. As a PMH RN, you will work in a secure, structured environment with a multidisciplinary care team to promote well-being and provide comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities. **Responsibilities:** • Promote well-being through prevention and education, and assess, diagnose, and treat mental health and substance use disorders • Demonstrate ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and critical thinking in the coordination of patient care • Work in a variety of settings, including inpatient mental health services, and provide comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to provide patient-centered care • *Qualifications:** • Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing • Current CPR certification • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable) • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements • Must be at least 18 years of age • Prefer 1 year of recent RN Psychiatric State Hospital experience • Active RN license (Montana or compact state) • BLS certification required • CPI certification preferred • Strong communication, de-escalation, and patient observation skills • *Benefits:** • Competitive pay & weekly paychecks • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance • 401(k) savings plan • Awards and recognition programs • Untaxed Housing Stipend: $770/week • Untaxed Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $476/week • Hourly Rate (Taxable): $30/hour • Overtime Rate: $85/hour
