Our Inpatient Rehabilitation facility is recognized nationally for its excellence and innovation in treating complex cases. Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00 Shift: 7a-7:30p; rotating weekends, rotating holidays Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for RNs with qualifying experience Unit Overview: Become a vital member of our Inpatient Spinal Cord Injury Physical Rehab Unit, 6N, specializing in the care of patients with Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI). Primary Patient Population: • Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Key Responsibilities: • Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care • Assist in SCI retraining, including bowel and bladder management • Implement wound prevention and care strategies • Utilize specialty treatments and technology to aid in function recovery • Deliver rehabilitation-specific education to patients and their families Collaborative Team: • Work alongside LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, Case Managers, Respiratory Therapists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Art and Music Therapists, and Dieticians Unit Capacity: 24 beds Awards: Recognized as a National Model System for Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program • Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio • Current AHA Basic Life Support certification, or obtain within 90 days of hire Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other professional certifications recognized by the Magnet Association
