Primary Patient Population: • Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Key Skills Utilized/Learned: • Ventilator/Trach Care • SCI retraining (Bowel & Bladder management program) • Wound prevention and care • Specialty treatment and technology for regaining function • Rehabilitation-specific education for patients and their families As a Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with: • LPNs • Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs) • Nurse Interns • Healthcare Providers • Social Workers/Case Management • Respiratory Therapy • Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy • Speech Therapy • Art & Music Therapy • Dieticians Unit Details: • 24 beds Awards and Recognitions: • National Model System MetroHealth provides industry-leading benefits including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and comprehensive medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation) • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
