Role Description This is an on-site full-time role for a Registered Nurse in the Renal/Telemetry Unit at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini in Alexandria, LA. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, perform thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patients’ conditions, particularly with a focus on renal and telemetry patients. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality care, administering medications, coordinating dialysis treatments, educating patients and their families, and documenting care accurately. Qualifications • Experience and knowledge in Hemodialysis and Dialysis procedures • Understanding of Nephrology and related medical conditions • Strong competencies in Medicine and Nursing • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred • Prior experience in renal or telemetry units is an advantage
