Renal Transplant Unit - Specializing in Solid Organ Transplants: Kidney, Kidney Pancreas, Liver Schedule: Full-Time Nights 7 PM - 7 AM This position may be eligible for a Sign-On Bonus option up to $20,000! Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse in our unit, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients. You will use established nursing practices to advocate for patients and their families, providing exceptional care throughout their medical journey. Your responsibilities will include: • Conducting thorough assessments of patients upon admission and during each shift, swiftly identifying and addressing any changes in their condition. • Performing procedures and administering medications as ordered, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring therapeutic responses. • Delivering exemplary care by responding to patient requests promptly and anticipating their needs. • Providing education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, ensuring they fully understand the information shared. Qualifications • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment. • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment. • Registered Nurse (RN) license required. • Associate Degree; BSN required with 12 months enrollment and 24 months completion (Magnet Hospital).
