As an RN Resident, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department requirements and established nursing standards. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will offer personalized and compassionate care by utilizing nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. You will advocate for patients and their families to enhance their overall healthcare experience. Your Responsibilities Include: • Conducting thorough patient assessments during admissions and throughout each shift, noting any changes and reporting them promptly • Executing medical procedures and functions as directed by providers while meticulously documenting care in patient records • Administering medications, monitoring patient responses, and taking appropriate actions in case of adverse reactions • Delivering prompt and exceptional care, anticipating patient needs and addressing them proactively • Educating patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures in an easily comprehensible manner Your Qualifications: • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 1 year of employment • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing • Registered Nurse License or eligibility to practice as a Graduate Nurse in the state • No prior experience required • Some travel may be necessary for training purposes HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital has been a trusted healthcare provider for over 40 years, offering a full spectrum of high-quality medical services.
