Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, provides, and manages nursing care, services, and health education for nursing home residents.
• Supervise the care and services provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members.
• Administer safe and accurate medication-related interventions for residents.
• Assess residents' health and notify physicians of any changes; implement new orders promptly.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessments and implement nursing interventions.
• Select and implement appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize residents' conditions and prevent complications.
• Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA's) and to the development of care plans.
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred; however, strong new nursing graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
• CPR certification required.
