Some of the job functions include the supervision of daily operations of the nursing staff to help achieve positive resident experience and to provide our residents with a safe and caring atmosphere. The ideal candidate should exhibit clear communication skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, high ethical standards, and a team working attitude. General Duties and Responsibilities: • Make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate the resident’s physical and emotional status. • Notify the resident’s physician and family when there is a change in the resident’s condition and provide appropriate care and follow through of physician orders. • Round with physicians. • Monitor medications, treatments, and IV Therapy to assure proper administration as ordered and scheduled. • Provide direct nursing care as necessary. • Ensure that all nursing personnel are following their respective job descriptions. • Give and receive nursing report at shift change.
