TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Care to provide high-quality nursing services to patients with complex and urgent medical conditions. The RN will deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote patient recovery and safety in an acute care environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to facility policies.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses to treatment, and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform patient education regarding diagnosis, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and clinical best practices.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide critical nursing interventions as required.
Qualifications
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in acute care, medical-surgical, or hospital settings preferred.
• Excellent assessment, clinical judgment, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
