Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Float (Nights) Marietta, Georgia Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM Contract Role Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join an Acute Care Float team on the night shift. This role requires flexibility to work across multiple inpatient units while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The RN functions as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, individualized care for diverse patient populations. Schedule Details • Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM • Every other weekend required • 2 major and 2 minor holidays required • Contract begins after 1/10/2026 Key Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care • Administer medications including Heparin IV • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams • Provide bedside education to patients and families • Complete accurate and timely documentation • Respond effectively in emergency situations • Support performance improvement and patient safety initiatives Required Qualifications • Active RN License (Georgia or Compact State) • BLS (Basic Life Support) • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) • NIHSS Certification • Heparin IV administration experience required • Graduate of accredited nursing program Preferred Experience • Direct inpatient acute care experience • Ability to float across multiple acute care units • Strong critical thinking and time management skills Required Skills • Strong clinical judgment and analytical thinking • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Comfortable using electronic medical record systems BI01 Job Type: Contract Pay: $45.60 - $52.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 per week Benefits: • Health insurance • Referral program Experience: • Acute Care: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: • ACLS Certification (Required) • NIHSS Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
