Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery and Wellness

Work location: Addiction Recovery Center, 240 North Miller Road Mansfield, TX 76063
Work hours: Full time, Days, 6:45a - 7:15p; rotating weekends and holidays

Here’s What You Need
• Nursing Diploma required OR
• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
• BSN preferred
• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or nursing diploma required
• BCLS prior to hire
• BCPMHN upon hire required
• ACPI (30 days within hire)
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
• One year of Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
• RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care

What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Assesses the patient
• Plans for the care of the patient
• Interventions as appropriate
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
