Responsibilities:

Responsible for various aspects of patient flow throughout the continuum of care. Excellent communication skills and critical thinking are required to coordinate the activities of the Command Center. You will collaborate with internal and external Physicians, Supervisors and leadership to facilitate the safe movement of patients into appropriate Inpatient rooms or the appropriate area of the hospital. Command Center RNs function in both the Transfer Center and Bed Control roles to manage patient flow and facilitate operations.

Qualifications:

Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
• 2 years of experience in an acute care setting required
• 3 years of experience in Registered Nursing across a wide spectrum of Inpatient and ED specialties preferred
• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
