Description Spring Harbor Hospital Nursing Req #: 66339 Part Time/Nights This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to RN’s with greater than 1 year experience For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience! • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Spring Harbor Hospital, located in Westbrook, Maine, is currently seeking to add an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to its Intensive Care Unit. This is a 6-bed general adult psychiatric unit, which serves patients who may have experienced acute psychiatric illnesses and any other co-occurring disorders. It will provide a low stimulus environment focusing on both safety and symptom stabilization with the goal of transferring the patient to another adult unit when appropriate. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience, great communication skills and the ability to work with a team of dedicated members. This role allows you to provide highly individualized care to our communities most acute psychiatric patients and their symptoms. Summary: The Registered Nurse – Charge – Behavioral Health role assumes frontline leadership in the daily operations of the department and works collaboratively with departmental staff, physicians/advanced practice practitioners, hospital staff, pre-hospital providers and community agencies to provide oversight and direction for the delivery of safe patient and family centered care. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must complete within 30 days of start date. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Certification RN-BC preferred. • Experience: Two years of relevant experience preferred, experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
